So many people wonder how to study the Bible, And I so get that, It's an intimidating book, but a holy and helpful one as well. So how do we study the Bible? There are so many different methods that can help you and your relationship with God.
S.O.A.P Method
The soap method is a Bible study resource that helps you dive into your scripture this is mostly used for smaller passages or single verses that really stick out to you, so what is it?
S: Scripture
O: Observation
A: Application
P: Prayer
S: Scripture this is where you will write your scripture out the passage or verse that you decided to meditate on
O: Observation, this is where you write what you realize and find out about the verse this is where you will put your theology, your context, who's writing it, who's it addressing etc. A: Application Simply and self-explanatory apply it to your life, is there something you need to change? What is the Lord putting on your heart? P: Prayer Talk to the Lord about what you found or realized in this Bible study method and what stood out to you.
R.E.A.P Method
This method is mostly for meditation and reflection it lets you see your feelings and emotions about the verse with the help of writing and praise
R: Read & Re-Read
E: Examine
A: Apply
P: Pray
R: Read & Re-Read This is how you really meditate and pray to understand the scripture you are reading; re-reading gives you a chance not to miss something and to study the scripture as a whole. E: Examine Write down your thoughts about this passage ask yourself questions like "What are the circumstances that the writer is in?" "Does the author give any hint at his intent for writing this passage?" "How should you respond?" and other questions along that line. A: Apply What is God saying to you and how is it matching your life?
P: Pray Ask the lord for wisdom and intercession about this passage and what you found out about your life and this passage
The 5 W's
The 5 w's is a way to really dive deep into your scriptures and to understand the actual context and being of the passage you are reading

Why
Who is writing this passage, What is happening in this passage, When is this story happening, Where did this passage happen, And why did this passage take place
